Halloween is always busy here at QCTV and this past weekend was the Anoka Halloween Parade. You can watch the parade online or on our channel and watch for the winning floats and bands listed on the Anoka Halloween Website. It’s Halloween time and there is a lot going on in the Quad Cities.

First off, there is a brand new episode of QC News. What's New at the Q for the week of October 7, 2013?

Can you believe it's fall already?  So what do you do with all those leaves? You'll find out on a brand new episode of QC News.

In addition, the Quad Cities Municipal Report is a great place for news right here in our four cities of Andover, Anoka, Champlin and Ramsey MN.

Other stories include:  Anoka County Sheriff's Office held an open house, the Riverway Clinic in Anoka is open,  Champlin has tips on yard waste disposal, and Ramsey is breaking ground on Stoney River senior living option.

Do you know the history of the Rum River? Local Historian, Lyle Bradley, talks about the history of this Minnesota river on the October's episode of It's Your History. In addition, Vickie Wendel talks about her new book: Keepers of the County, a book that tells the story of crime and law enforcement in Anoka County from 1857 to 2009.
