Fall Sports 2013 on QCTV and qctv.org

Summer is drawing to an end and QCTV is ready for a new season of prep sports to begin! Most games will be broadcast on channel 15 and all the games will be available as a free, LIVE WEBCAST. The live webcasts allow anyone in the world a chance to view high school sports that happen in Andover, Anoka, Champlin, and Ramsey, Minnesota.

In addition to live webcasts, videos of each game are available to watch ON DEMAND about 3 hours following completion.

Father Hennepin Parade LIVE Webcast

QCTV is at it again! We'll be sending up a free, live webcast of the Father Hennepin Parade on Friday, June 7! People from across the globe can watch this fantastic local event! It's a great opportunity for family and friends of people marching in the parade to share in the fun- even if they live far away from Champlin, MN. Graduation 2013 Live, Free Webcasts

QCTV is excited to offer live, free webcasts of Andover, Anoka, and Champlin Park high school graduation commencements this year. This is a great way for family and friends who are unable to attend in person, to tune in and see their student grab that diploma. www.qctv.org/grad is the page you will want to visit to see the live videos and on-demand videos following the events. Please send this information to your family and friends so that they can join in the fun!

QCTV will be at Mariucci Arena to record and webcast Andover and Champlin Park's graduations on Sunday, June 2, 2013.

QCTV will be at Goodrich Field in Anoka to record, webcast, and live broadcast on channel 15, Anoka's graduation on Monday, June 3. If the event is moved indoors to Anoka High School's Field House, we will be unable to send video to channel 15, but the event will still be available as a free, live webcast online.

The extremely long winter has truncated the spring sports season, but games are now scheduled, and QCTV will be there to cover the remainder of the games. All regular season sports games that QCTV records will also be available as a LIVE WEBCAST. February 2013 Update

February will be a busy month for QCTV programming! The government department is busy in Andover, Anoka, Champlin, and Ramsey, keeping everyone on top of city meetings and updates. Of course in each city, meetings are broadcast LIVE on channel 16, and simultaneously sent to the web via live free webcast. These webcasts can be seen by visiting www.qctv.org (then click government, and the city you'd like to visit). You can find a calendar of upcoming government meetings here.

The Sports department is excited to have the QCTV Sports Show back in action after a holiday break, highlighting top plays and moments from local prep sports. Of course, QCTV will be bringing you several prep hockey and basketball games as the winter season hits it's home stretch. Be sure to tune in to channel 15 for tape delay playback of these great games- and also, watch them LIVE as they happen at www.qctv.org/sports via free live webcasts. The Community department has been hard at work shooting new segments and shows like It's Your History and The Suburban Mix. There are also two fantastic special events in February! Don't miss the State of the Markets which will run in the first half of the month, and the State of the Cities luncheon which will happen on February 12. These programs can also be viewed on-demand at www.qctv.org/community.

Holiday Concerts on QCTV 2012

As the holidays approach, QCTV will be videotaping a variety of holiday-themed concerts performed at our area high schools. These generally include choir, orchestra and band concerts. Once we have them recorded, we’ll play them regularly on Channel 15 throughout the month of December. Our biggest playback day with be Christmas Day. Traditionally, we reserve that day for 24 hours of holiday concerts. Concerts will also be available to watch online as soon as we have finished editing them for playback.
